The position of carpenter includes a wide range of skills. The ideal candidate would have considerable experience with rough carpentry elements as well as finishing carpentry. They would be as comfortable building forms for concrete as hanging and casing a door. They would be able to install wood backing or machine a door for hardware. Considerable knowledge of architectural hardware and installation techniques would be an asset. A good working knowledge of these and other skills would be a prerequisite to consideration of a site superintendent position.
