Project Manager is a position which integrates technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. The individual must be equally competent to manage processes and people to deliver exceptional results. Process management would include preparation of project schedules, preliminary budgets, expediting and tracking project documentation such as drawings, purchase orders, change orders, RFI’s, shop drawings, and site instructions. Further, this position would administer and manage the financial performance of the project. Strong communication and people skills are required to resolve issues and ensure a continuous flow of information between owner, architect, sub-consultants, site superintendent, subtrades and suppliers. The position demands outstanding organizational skills and ingenuity to conquer daily obstacles and challenges.
